Editorial Policy
Published by Online PR Editorial Team | Last updated
Online PR publishes independent editorial content about public relations, media placements, PR agencies, and communication strategy. Trust matters. This document explains exactly how our content is created, reviewed, fact-checked, and kept up to date, and how you can flag anything that looks wrong.
Who we are
Online PR is operated by Quick LLC. We run a global directory of PR agencies, a marketplace of media publications and newswires, and an ongoing publication about the PR industry. Our editorial team combines in-house writers, industry contributors, and vetted AI tooling under human supervision.
How content is created
Every article, guide, and long-form page begins with a topic brief owned by an editor. The brief defines the target reader, the core question the piece must answer, and the sources we intend to cite. Drafting can be done by a human writer or by our AI drafting pipeline; regardless of the drafting method, the same editorial checks apply before a piece goes live.
- Directory pages (agencies, publications, cities, countries) are generated from structured, verified data submitted by the businesses themselves or aggregated from public sources.
- Blog posts and guides are written by our editorial team or drafted by our AI pipeline and then reviewed by an editor before publishing.
- Newsroom submissions are user-submitted press releases that go through a moderation queue before appearing publicly.
Fact-checking and review
Before publication, every editorial piece is checked against three standards: (1) accuracy — every claim of fact, statistic, quote, or industry norm must be verifiable from a reputable source; (2) attribution — third-party ideas, data, and quotes are credited; (3) relevance — the article must answer the reader's question directly. Editors reject drafts that rely on unverifiable claims or manufactured statistics.
AI usage disclosure
We use large-language-model tooling to help draft, expand, translate, and refresh editorial content. Wherever AI is used, the output is edited and approved by a human editor before publication. AI is never used to fabricate quotes, invent case studies, or generate reviews. Directory data (agency profiles, publication listings) is never generated from AI hallucination — it is grounded in submitted or scraped structured data.
Articles substantially drafted by AI are labelled with an "Online PR AI" byline and remain the editorial responsibility of the Online PR team.
Freshness and updates
Editorial content decays. To keep articles accurate we run a weekly freshness pass: the oldest and lowest-engagement blog posts are reviewed, expanded with new information, and republished with an updated dateModified timestamp. When we substantially rewrite a piece we add a "Recent Updates" section rather than silently changing prior claims. Pages that are no longer accurate are corrected, unpublished, or replaced with a redirect to a current article.
Corrections policy
If you find a factual error or outdated claim on any Online PR page, email [email protected] with the URL and a short description of what you'd like corrected. We aim to acknowledge every correction request within two business days and to correct or clarify verified errors within seven days. Substantive corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected article with a dated correction note; typographical or formatting fixes are made silently.
Content removal and takedowns
Businesses listed in our directory can request updates, corrections, or removal of their own profile at any time by writing to [email protected]. Copyright complaints, DMCA notices, and other legal takedown requests should be sent to the same address with the required documentation.
Editorial independence
Online PR sells listing placements, verification badges, and PR distribution services. Commercial relationships never influence editorial rankings, agency reviews, or news coverage. Advertorial or sponsored content, if it ever appears, is clearly labelled as such.
